Honest question...re choils...

Raging Rhino that reverse choil boss is awesome. I am not anti choil, just on a fighting blade they make no sense to me. Just think with no choil you could have the cutting edge closer to the handle, you know where your grip is. Now in a Skinner I like a choil, and on bigger knives its very useful.
Could you imagine ripping your shoulder out of socket in a knife fight?

Man I love that muddy red/black g10 jack! that color combo is my favorite... I also have a choiless b10le and BJ and love 'em dearly.

Mine won't be muddy for very long either, it's a few days away from being stripped and bead blasted.....:)

This is exactly what you need in a knife fight, nothing like adding even more adversity to an already dubious task.....;)

Nobody wins in a knife fight, the movies and self defense videos make it look dramatic and cool. Its nasty, dirty, painful, and full of risk of transferring disease. I've been there and DONT want to talk about it.

A flame thrower is much cleaner and any blood loss is immediately cauterized. :)

I am surprised that we are having a choil discussion and last visible canary hasn't weighed in yet. He really doesn't like choils, and has some pics of real world examples showing how choils are a problem for him.

I have used both with no problems either way. I do prefer the look of a choil though. That is of course just my opinion, there really is no right or wrong answer.

I had to pass on the TaliWacker, for what it is I just could not send the e-mail at Ganzaa time.
I'm not a big fan of ResC except on a chopper, not a fan of Tanto's and I must agree with Raging Rhino a choil did not fit the package. It is a very beautiful knife though!
I do like choils though on the right knives and they do have the Busse look for sure.
