Hey guys, I've got a new in box, never used, North (by Honeywell) CA101D PAPR kit.

This includes the heavy duty decon washable belt, blower assembly, high capacity (8 hour+) battery, charger, and a North PA101L loose fitting head-piece. Without the head-piece, retail on the kit is like $1200. You can see the manufacturer's info here: http://www.northsafety.com/TriggerWorkflow.aspx?WorkflowModuleGUID=a3c3bf34-f500-45aa-a73f-13a246669a21&SB_ContentItemGuid=4cbebe82-6058-4ec2-af38-b05bc3fdead7

The only thing this kit doesn't include are the filter cartridges(3x North 40HE filter cartridges), which can be gotten a lot of places, like Zoro Tools, for around $50 for a 3 pack, which I expect to last quite a while.

The PAPR itself is compatible with lots of head pieces and North full face masks. The included loose fitting head-piece is excellent for people like me who have full beards. The PAPR creates a positive air pressure inside the head piece and doesn't require a tight seal like a mask filter does.

*ONLY* reason I'm selling this, is because right after I bought it, I got a good deal on a 3m Versaflo system, with a head piece I prefer, and compatibility with the Speedglas welding helmets. Otherwise, I'd be using this one. They seem roughly equivalent though. I'm using mine with a full beard, and the black boogers have ceased to exist. It's also a much more convenient system to use than a face mask. You can lift up the headpiece when you dont want it in the way, like a welding helmet. Just keep the belt on and it's always there to use when grinding. I was lucky to use my half-face mask 10% of the time, and it's effectiveness was marginalized by my facial hair.

Asking $400 shipped for everything. I charged and tested the battery, tried on the belt, otherwise it's completely unused. Trades considered.

Can provide pics by request, but it's exactly what you see if you look at the above link, in a nice case.

On second thought, I'll take $300 for it. That's cheaper than a Airshield Pro, more versatile and I'd wager more efficient on cartridges.

That's my best price though.
