Honk If You Like Old Knives!

Many of the knives branded Honk Falls were made recently... some in Germany and China. The photo is blurry so it is difficult to see clearly but your knife may be made in Germany. It would also be helpful to see the markings.

Here's an auction photo of a German made knife that is branded Honk Falls. I don't know for sure when these were made... maybe the 1990s.

Victoria, The tang stamp is a match for the knives made in Germany for Parker in 1992. IIRC the knives were made in the Olbertz factory in Germany.

Thank you for the information althou I'm rather confused at the moment. Granddaddy went home in 87 so I'm uncertain as ta how such got into his possession. I have a box full and upon receiving I took to the bank. Just got em out for my son's to divide

I'm thinking when we took my dad's and put them in they might of gotten in together. We have over 150 knives between the 2 of em. Both men liked to collect em

My condolences. It's nice that the knives were saved for your boys.

I wouldn't have it any other way. Daddy gave me a bone handle Case and granddaddy give me a Old Timers and I cherish each one. Guys have been going thru them since yesterday, they are both past 25 now. It's sure hard ta read whats on some of em. They polished some in orde to see the imprints. Just curious over a lot of em

It’s really cool that your grandpa and dad collected! We should seriously make trad sub form BF bumper stickers with this thread title.

I'd sport that sticker.

Yeah they really enjoyed collecting. We have counted 247 knives between the 2 of em. My son's are enjoying going thru them and learning what they can about em all. Dad and granddaddy had everyday knives as well and they have set out beside their photos for years.
