Honkin quench plates!!!!

Some of you remember I had the hookup with a pair of 1.5" quench plates along with some D2 industrial machine slicer blades, then my Great Grandmother died, and the contents of the box fell out the side all in the same week!!!

Well, my Bro in law came through for me. When you see the end view, all I can say is FIVE INCHES!!!! Wholly crap these things are massive! 2.5x3x12"!!!

They are a hair short, but I told my bro in law to keep an eye out for the longer stuff. He had this stuff lying around so it was convenient for him. I have not made a blade yet over 11" so this will work for a long while.

To be honest with you I doubt I will ever need to HT that many blades in a session to take advantage of that. But maybe I should do it for the bling factor.
