Honor & Wisdom, Celtic/Viking Style Dagger

A Celtic or viking inspired dagger with Celtic knots and runes burned into the mahogany handle and sheath. The runes are written in the Norse language and translate to "Honor" on the daggers handle and "Wisdom" on the sheath which can have a variety of meanings for each individual. The blade is made of 1095 high carbon steel and polished to a mirror finish (2500 grit). The handle is 4 7/8" long and the sheath 5" giving it 9 7/8" overall length. As stated the wood used is mahogany with several coats of tung oil finish. This is my best work yet and took just over a week to finish. Part of me wants to keep it but it needs a better home than I can give it.
