A lot of Spyderco Ladybugs suffer from poorly aligned parts (the blade edge sometimes rests on the inside of the handle). Maybe the bad ones were just older units, only when they get worn out, who knows. I wanted to make sure I got a good one (actually two of them), so I called and asked them to look at their knives to make sure they were good. They did, and the knives arrived as described.
This is the second time I ordered from them and, at my request, they checked on some specific detail about the knife by actually looking at the item they were going to ship to me. I forget what the first one was, but I remember they went to get a knife and look at it before answering. They also have good prices and shipping.
