Clearing out all my thumb stud knives - arthritis in my hands makes these hard to use - unfun.
SO - FOR SALE - Very excellent little custom Joe Hoover liner lock.

$ 180.00 to your door in the US PAYPAL GOODS
Ship To Canada or elsewhere send PM to discuss additional S&H costs.
This is lightly used as an in house only - mostly as letter opener and tape cutter. Still - I'm calling it A USER. Knife is very sharp but I know that there are purists here who will scoff at my idea of sharp.
Can always use refinement.

THESE ARE THE ORIGINAL SPECS & DESCRIPTION FROM JOE
Closed- 3 5/8 inches
Open- 6 1/2 inches
Blade- just shy of 3 inches
Steel- AEB-L
Finish- stonewashed - NOW - nice medium sheen polish

Back Spacer- Floated carved carbon fiber

"Solid edc folder with early solid lock up and centered blade (this was not accurate - see photo below - this is the way it arrived. Just came back from Joe and it seems that this is the way it will be.). It opens easily riding on caged bearings. Stainless frame was heat treated for added corrosion resistance. Closes easily with no lock bar stick. All components for this knife with the exception of the caged bearings, screws, and pivot were crafted by hand in my shop. My makers mark is on the frame of this knife. The scale on the lock side has to be removed before it is visible."

All holds true to this day. I have cared for this knife and used it sparingly.
A NOTE ABOUT THE POLISH - I have created a polished finish on the blade. I will not say that the finish is perfect. Don't really know what perfect is in this case as it seems to be a moving target. Suffice to say that is has great reflection but not without a faint but nicely consistent scratch pattern (along the length of the blade) - no stray scratches marring the surface. The reflection is good. Still, if you are OCD about perfection this one is not a knife for you.
The thumb ramp on the spines is NOT POLISHED - rather it is lightly scuffed with a diamond file to provide a bit of resistance (see this in the centering photo below).

HOOVER FILE WORK

CENTERING (or not) Came from Joe this way. Does not effect the working of the blade.

FOLDED - fits easily in a jeans watch pocket

HOOVER MAKER's MARK on the liner

Will come with little pouch as shown in the photos.
