Hope All New Sheaths Are Not Built Like This…….

I'm with you,don't like the flat sewn loop. Maybe someone from Buck will weigh in ?
 
I'm bumping this old thread for the sake of further discussion. Imho the stitching on the new flat sewn will not hold up as well as the old loop overs. My old 1970 110 sheath has been thru hell and high water with flying colors.Do you think these new flat sewn sheaths will last decades ?
 
I have a flat sewn sheath with the curved right hand carry sheath I bought in 1995 ,there is no wear on the loop threads from my belt,and it's been carried for many many years,they use excellent stitching methods and quality materials.i don't care for them ,but they will last.
