That looks great! The Kephart pattern is the perfect shape for a field blade. I'll bet that one will see a lot of use.

SWEET!!! Congratulations on a great knife. (Man, I love A2.) And, you know that anything coming from Scott is going to hold up to hard use like a tank!

Wow....I just recieved a Tusker in A2 with Maple. I'm really looking forward to getting it outside to play.

This looks to be one of those "legacy" type knives. It'll get passed down to another generation......

Very, very nice!

My experience with Scott's knives have been excellent. Proven designs and materials, and a real nice fella on top of that. Summation, a recipe for a great tool.

Really like the wood on that one, too.

I so much love to make simple working designs. The Kephart is definately one of them. Straight forward, no bells and whistles outdoor knife. Horace Kephart knew what he was doing with this design.

I'd love a review when you get a chance, and to hear on how well the design in general works for you. I'm having a tough time deciding between a Kephart type blade and another, similar to the BRKT Aurora.

I saw that one, or one similar, in Scotts shop. Really neat design. Might change my next request to one like it.

Here's some "in hand" shots I took this morning. We got hit with 4+ inches of pure freezing rain and sleet last night. Several towns around So. Il. are without power and ours went out about 4am for a little while.
