hi everyone..

i need everybody's opinion on this... who would rather have their disc grinder horizontal and why? OR who would want their disc grinder to be vertical and why?
thanks for the help. i'm just trying to decide what would work for me before i build it but i'm not really sure the benefits of either position for a disc grinder.

thanx

The advantage of a vertical disk is that you can put a rest right up against it, alowing you to sand at set angles and in straight lines. This is useful, but it's more useful in woodwork. For flat grinding on blades, I suggest a horizontal one.

Make it reversible (cw or ccw rotation) if you can, and I like to look dowm at the work as I grind so I guess I am a vertical guy.
