Horizontal Sheaths.....A Tutorial

Great reading! And greetings from Russia! Now I have only one trouble - where can I get here in Russia such good leather...

Thank you very much for the excellent tutorial !!!!! I may try the slicking of the leather. Now I’ll be shopping for a tool to slick leather with :)

Thanks Dave for sharing another in-depth tutorial. I always learn a lot from these. It also gives me a greater appreciation for the custom sheaths you made for me, including these horizontals.

I like to wear the small knives at about the 1:30 position for quicker R/H access. I go full cross draw on the longer ones.

I wish you and Nichole all the best this holiday season.

Thanks!

I doing a little shake and bake today and looked up this as a refresher and saw that it isn’t listed in the tutorial section so I’ll ask a moderator to add this in as I am sure others will benefit from Dave’s instructions and photos
Thanks again Dave!

How did I miss this before?? I’ve been trying to replicate how you get your knives to lock in like you do. I’ve tried many times and my sheaths work, but your skill is amazing, and the fit of the knife in your sheath is outstanding. Thank you so much for sharing. I’m going to keep trying.

Dave’s work is always exceptional!

This reminded me of an older post about taking the little bit extra time to do something

Revisiting this amazing tutorial.

Horsewright Horsewright , does weaver not sell the #4 beveler anymore? I can't seem to find it :(

"Choose from sizes 0 (1/32"), 1 (3/64"), 2 (1/16") and 3 (7/64")"
