Hello everyone
I recently made a knife with buffalo bolsters, but after some time (a day or two) the buffalo horn moved a little bit. It was first flush with the micarta I used but later you could feel that the horn was sticking up a bit.
There is also I small gap between the horn and the micarta.
I used 1 pin to secure the bolster, could that be the problem?
Anyone who has had the same problem or who knows what could be the cause?
Also, I don't know if I should ask this in the same post but does anyone have experience with the Goset G20 grinder? It is one of the little knife making belt grinders available in Europe and it costs €1500. If I would buy a KMG I would have to pay at least $500 shipping cost.
Thanks in advance
Casper Michiels
