Horn Handle Treatment

All through this search, I've run across various terms - Hoof Treatment, Hoof Ointment, etc. On a trip to the post, my wife stopped at a saddle & tack shop in Radcliffe, and brought home a quart can of Fiebing's Hoof Dressing. Folks, this is the equivalent of Kiwi spit shine for horsie's foots

Although it contains mostly mineral oil, and ingredients such as "Soyol" and "Gilsonite", and has no lanolin (unless one of these others is a form of lanolin) it is recomended for splits, dryness, cracks, etc. On the horn handles, wiped on and left to dry about 30 min, then rubbed down, it produces a deep glow like I wish I could get on the wood handles. And with one application. I wish there was a product that would work this quickly on wood
