Horn?

If this HIT involves kukris as dowry or wedding presents I might have to look into putting some NDN into my family bloodline.

(Not to mention we can have a good time driving the cave dweller out of his mind with new oily ndn's for him to get angry at.)

Honestly, if you were to base a relationship on the basis of collecting highly polished specialy tempered spring steel it would be rather interesting.
 
Hey, that's only common sense to claim/establish kinship with people running around with big sharp objects. Besides, it extends the safety benefits ( don't mess with THEM!!! ) to you and yours. Kinda like most people don't give the bird to Hell's Angels, specially when they're together on a run.

Nah! I was going to respond ( accurately, I believe ) to his condition, but out of kindness, and because it's no fault of their own such people have a chemical imbalance, I'll leave that to DocPat.

HIT..I like it. Say, when the HI tomahawk makes it down it's long journey into production, we ought to come up with a HIT edition. Available to all of course, even researchers.

Sorry I came in late. Just want to say I used buffalo horn for the two slabs of the plow handle of my Dakota-made .357 Magnum SAA. Had it since 1984 and there's nary a crack on it. I had to build up the horn to get the required dimensions, and filled in the inside hollows with glass fibre. Beautiful sheen to it, but not mirror bright, so nice I decided not to chequer it. The SAA is in daily use. I salute buffalo horn, and I think it looks very nice on khuks. I'm crazy about the horn/brass contrast. This is my 2 SA cents worth, which is eight times less than USA 2c.
