Just ordered the MOD Hornet, searched the net and could not find a smooth black blade any where, I had to settle for the serrated edge, not my favorite edge. Hoping for a quality knife, any input?
 
IMO, MOD knives are some of the best production knives out there. Outstanding lock ups, great edge, and just plain beautiful!

Yes, FreeMan, you will be very pleased with the Hornet. Mine is the plain edge in bead blast finish.

Fit and finish is excellent and the lockup is secure and solid. As with all MODs the locking bar is very thick and substantial.

I agree. I just ordered a Hornet serrated model. I currently have a LadyHawk and two CQD Mark II's. All of my MOD knives are top quality. I'm to use my Hornet for everyday carry.

I have had a few diffrent MOD'S two hornets both beadblast plain super knives just the right size for everyday use i have a trident auto it is one of the best knives i own my CQD stealth is about the coolest knife i have ever had super design strong smooth good looking i have a CDQ auto comming today can,t wait i think MOD makes some of the best knives going i also had a tempest i traded it cause i thought it was rather plain but i was a good solid knife
