Horse shoes

i found some horse shoes (steel, forged from china) from a horse shoe game. Is this a useable steel to make a knife?. Shoes are very heavy. What do you think?

Not so much. At best, horse shoes here for horses are medium carbon, maybe 1045-ish. Those you are talking about for the game are probably low carbon.

Well there's that. We use em all the time for that. Both of these display racks are horseshoes and pipes welded up and painted:

Sponsorship dinner the night before our local rodeo. then set up the booth next day in vendor row.

A guy could have a worse view when ya set up the booth. That's part of our ranch in the background of these shots.

Get some railroad spikes, weld them to the horseshoes, make yourself a nice belt storage (or coat) rack
