Yep - there's lots of magazine articles out there too, and funny thing is those same mags usually have full page layouts of those products for sale

I'm not dogging - just questioning ya know?

My friends father, a Vietnam vet, told me once how his M-16 jammed so much he finally swithched to an AK-47, which was known to be much more reliable.

Do you have any stories from the Chinese or Russians about their AK's? The reason Ak's worked better than the M16 was because the tolerances were much less - sand jammed M16's for awhile until they figured that out

i bet hipboots could shed some light on the early era.. but, my new m4 in 2001 was nice,, but every other p.o.s. i was issed before that,, i would be scared to tote into desert operation,,

My friends father was in theatre in 1967-1968...very cool guy.
