His name was Rocky Shiloh Warrior. Not sure what type, but he was black and silver, lightning fast, and a true friend. Shiloh Warrior was the "family name" if that makes any sense.

That dog easily kept up with my jeep across the field over 40mph. Chased our race horse and caught it. As you can see from the pic he would get off all four and really stretch out. I will never find a dog like that again.

I know, a long answer for such a simple question:D I am a dog person, can't help it.

A beautifull dog for sure. Could be a shilo shepherd or just a nice Alsation(german shepherd). got a soft spot for them myself.
