I bought this AD, although I am unsure of the handle material:

I know it ain't snakeskin, probably tan micarta, I think. Who wants to take a guess?

He says the blade is black.

Kind of looks like tigerhide to me. Could be green linen. Definitely doesn't look like snake but who knows with those pics.

Nice score. I just got an AD and love it! Fits right in my pocket with kydex.

I just read an interesting story about a guy who took his .460 to Africa on hunting Safari. He dropped some big game with it. That is a serious revolver.

I was also looking at that. Does not seem to be snakeskin ... but the lighting and camera settings are just so critical for this. Tan is possible, but I doubt many black/tans were made as that's a rather odd combo.

You'll have to receive it and examine it in the light. If you do NOT like it, luckily Garth can put other handles on it without any problem.
