Well, I got a call this morning and he didn't make it through the night.
I miss him terribly already. He was a good dog.

Thank you to all for the kind words. It really means a lot.
Yesterday was a bad day. Foster was with me just about every day for the last 9 1/2 years and I can't believe he's really gone. He really was my best friend. The only time he would leave my side around the house was when I would say "Want a bath Foster?"
Today is a little better as the girl and I can bring ourselves to laugh about some of the silly things he used to do.

He really was a good dog.

I am really glad to hear that today was, at least, a little better.

I feel ya sleeve. I've lost a few dogs in my time and I believe it is the most painful thing aside from loosing a close family member. I'm not an emotional dude, but I openly admit I cried when my last two pits died.

Anyway, here is our dog edc'n a Horton. She's gotta stay protected.
