On a more serious note I picked up a new book (yeah I read quite a bit) about 1939 and how our army fought german tanks with cavalry how some soldiers stood up to their commanders for being a cowards.

OT: Did you ever read "The long walk"? It's a supposedly true story about a Polish Cavalry Ofcr who is captured by the Russians and sent to Siberia. He escapes with some buddies and walks to India!
