Vid of the morning - Rob haven't shot the 700gr sledge hammers;) so the first one kind of sneaked on him :)

Another vid.

I took some crappy stills from the vid - a have to look for a decent vid editing software.

Overall good range trip but its was very cold.....

I miss shooting. when I lived in OR, used to go out every weekend. was a member at the local indoor range, only 15 min from my house. and in nice weather, BLM land was only 30 min away. here in IL, no indoor range AT ALL, and all the country around here is all privately owned cornfields. pretty much sucks. all I can do for a fix is take my guns out and fondle them lovingly, then put them away again. its depressing. not to mention FOID bullshit....

I'd like to post in this thread, but people would make fun of my gas block and I'd get all butt-hurt. :p

Pauli, That s awesome! I want to photogragh that 500 in low light at ignition, from the barrel end, that would be some seroious fire!

Night, that just seems .....well, it really sucks.

yeah, its a big bucket of weak sauce....

still loves me some guns though, this thread is killer!!

Anyone have any dealings with Century Arms?

i just ordered a bunch of 5.45 surplus ammo from them. it was $107 per case, which is a helluva deal. i've also had a couple of their rifles over the years. quality is hit or miss. did they do you wrong hippie?

seems like the hot rifles are TGI. you'd have to pay tax on it hippie, but with the discount price of 399(if you sign up for theakforum.net), it'd still be a smokin deal. lancaster offered a cheaper model, but now it doesnt come with a chrome lined barrel.

Man
all this gun talk
I sent for my FOID card the other day.
Gonna start looking to buy a gun.
No idea what I want.
Something I will be able to shoot somewhere here near the city.
Can you shoot a 22 rifle in an indoor range?

At most indoor ranges I've been to you can shoot anything but .50, but it has to be a single projectile(no buck shot). You can't go wrong with 9mm in a pistol, 357 in a wheel, or 22 in a rifle, all cheap and plentiful.
