I just got this email from the guy who makes the 1150 Lumen flashlight I have. Don't know how he compares to Malkoff lumen and price-wise, but I highly recommend him and his work. Here's his new tac-light:

BLACK BEAR PRESENTS
A TACTICAL RIFLE/SHOTGUN
LIGHT
THE TACTICAL BEAR - 300 LUMENS
WITH 2 HOURS OF RUN TIME
$175 SHIPPED
Now you can own a real tactical light that is affordable to buy and to feed.
If you own an AR, a shotgun for home defense, or a sporting rifle that you use for hunting coyotes or pigs or coons, you can mount a tactical, RECHARGEABLE light with an incredible 300 lumens!
No more wasting money in those expensive and poor capacity 123s batteries; these batteries give a 20 minute run time to a 120 lumens Surefire light.
Surefire has the tactical model M951 going for $380 with the usual P-60 lumens lamp doing 60 minutes or the P-61 lamp doing 120 lumens for 20 minutes.

My Tactical light will do 300 lumens for two hours, it runs on a Lithium Ion rechargeable battery, the charger is included as well as the pressure pad remote switch, the ring mount and also the shipping to your door.
The Tactical Bear looks like a Surefire 6P, a well known light. It is a clone with the same quality of manufacturing and with even some better touches, we replace the bezel ring and use stainless steel instead of plastic.
Parts interchange with Surefire 6P, if you need red filters or IR filters, you can buy those of Surefire and will fit perfectly.
The internal diameter has been enlarged to accommodate the special high grade Lithium Ion battery. This battery can be charged 1,000 times and after that a new battery will cost only $20.
Surefire lamps last an average of 36 hours, then you need another $25 lamp.
My LED module is good for 50,000 hours, that is a lot of hunting hours!
The optional tail cap ($12) is for when you want to use the light as a hand held.
The ring is included. For an AR rifle I supply a heavy quick detach ring with a lever so you dont have to get a coin from your pocket to detach it.
If your light goes in a sporting rifle, you might want the Weaver ring which is made of aluminum and steel and is much lighter in weight. You have that option.
The AR owner doesnt have a mounting problem as many AR have a Picattiny rail.
The hunter on the sporting rifle, may want to use the optional ($25) gizmo that attaches the light to the scope, shown at 10 oclok.
Or the barrel clamp shown at 7 oclock ($15)
A similar clamp is available for your shotgun barrel ($25) not shown.
Give your shotgun or rifle the gift of light, buy one of my new Tactical Bears today, the quality is what you expect from the maker of the Borealis 1050 lumens flashlight,
