Speaking of COP stuff...
I went running again today and took some pic's
of the Police Memorial we have downtown.
Loading them up now.

The Police Memorial is on the Lakefront.
It is a few structures tied together via a gravel
running path.
This is the center,main monument.

and a little closer,
(that is a waterfall on the front)

Notice the bricks on the ground,
each contains a family tribute to a fallen Officer.

One of the other monuments,
Fallen Officers Shield and Name on the Wall.
Here they are separated into which district they worked in.
(Soldiers Field in backround)

and leaving that monument and heading on the path to the main one,

Its well worth a visit even if you have no family in the Service.
We are all Patrons of their service.
