A strong odor in the area of our plant is being reported by Dow Chemical as coming from their plant in Hahnville due to a release of ethyl acrylate. According to the MSDS, the odor threshold for ethyl acrylate is extremely low and Dow officials have indicated that the levels released at their site do not exceed protectiveness standards. We will continue to follow the situation as things develop.
