I strive to be of use.

It hurts, though. The urge to provide more detail is ever-present. It's a horrible tendency developed by Western scientific training.

It makes you real unpopular at parties.:o

Contrary to popular belief, I am not actually mad. I'm more like ... peeved.

Is that why u wear the GLOVES? Lol

yeah right! you'd be the shiznit at parties! you could probably rig up some contraption to get everyone drunk quicker, but minus the hangover......

Drunk quicker is easy.

The hangerover part is more difficult. Not saying its impossible.

Gravelface has got some nice CG Busse stuff on the exchange. I'm waiting for price drops though. He's almost hit the magic number to make me bite.

Just sent you a PM. guess I should tell bushcraft as well. I'm gonna be in boston for a few days but will have someone who can sign for the package at home. Gonna spend some time in cape cod.

You should go see Ronnie... But you can't mention any knives,, if mommas around

The longer a piece of metal is, the harder it is to control its behavior under extreme temperature excursions. What the company can offer Jeremy is much more precise control of temperature and of rates of change of temperature throughout the entire body of his longer knives (and swords). This control is what is needed to keep a longer knife from warping.

You'd be surprised how much trouble we aerospace types have to go to when materials with different coefficients of expansion have to be used in a single system. The differences might appear small when looking at the number, but temperature extremes bring those differences out and cause stress, warping, and cracking. It's a serious problem, believe me.

I think Jeremy's wise to check out these more advanced methods.

Thanks OP, even I can understand that :D

I have a similar issue. Believe it or not my momma is cool with guns. Not so much with the knives. At least not with the quantity of knives that I own.
