Nearly anyone, with the Bucks can take a picture, put it in the CAD and get the CNC programed and make a knife.
JH is/has gone WAY past that into design and freehand grinding.
He Has done the apprentice thing and learned he own Heat Treat and now is looking for optimum Performance through Tech and applied science.
Combining Art(Design) with High Tech(this place doing the Heat Treat) He is now intent on making the best performing knives possible with the Steels available to Him.
This costs $$ and Takes time and Testing.
JH is now playing with the Big Boys.
Spending Money and testing Theories.
We are all Lucky to be invited along for the ride and to get to watch.
