I feel like I was kicked in the gut by a mule......

32 oz steak with all the sides, got a cool shirt, but not sure if it was worth it!!!!!

Pretty bold move Jeremy, to give up mod work and the money you can bank on in order to continue you're own blades. A lot of people would have taken the safe option but i'm glad you took your balls in your hands and jumped full in for just making your own blades.

Looking forward to seeing what happens next.

Thanks,, I have had a lot of realiziations hit me like a ton of bricks here in the last few weeks,, all I can rely on is that my designs are good and my steel, edges, and heat treat are even better,, and you guys like me for some reason,, I do not want to be known as the the modifier that will do anything for money, that won't last forever,, those guys come and go,,

Cant wait man. So will you be doing mid-tech runs with a signup list or custom orders or makeing what your in the mood for and putting them up for sale? Enquiring minds and all that.:D

The best news I've heard yet out of the compound. The mods, although cool, were never what I wanted to see more of.
Show me another Horton Original has been my thinking for a long time !!
There are alot of ways to get into a business and maybe the mods helped jump-start your customer base but, whatever the case may be, you have a strong base that wants your product, is willing to wait, is enthusiastic and inspired by what you are offering.
As far as steel, edge and heat treat go ....well that ,for me , is where the true beauty there in lies.
I bent my Camp Blood severely a while back and lets just say ....it should have chipped out with the abuse it took. I was able to straighten most of the damage on the edge of a screwdriver and honed the rest.
Very cool......the design sold me...the steel, edge and heat treat are what made me loyal.
Bring it on J ...... you are free !!!

Good Job,

Glad to see it.

Making Signature knives, not signing other makers knives to improve them.

You can be whoever you want ,, bud,, I'm no gangsta, perhaps a little ghetto,, from my travels,, be who makes you comfortable,, like I said I'm justa old country boy,, that moved to the city and got some street smarts and Hustlin instinct,, you know,,

I hear ya bro, thanks for the real talk. I've been living in Alexandria my entire life, grew up in the public school systems, I'm well versed too... not as much as some... but enough.:)

Don't worry. That won't happen to you.

I predict, without much worry of being proven wrong, that you'll be around for the long haul.:)
