I mean, "Nice Yak".

I live 400 yards from the south east edge of Upper Klamath Lake, in Oregon.

25 years ago I would have just portaged my Canoe, now I drive down.

My Canoe is a 17' Oldtown ABS plastic, smooth bottom whitewater model and is just a sideways sailing vessel on a lake when there is wind.

So, I am thinking about an Ocean Yak,but am more likely to end up with a Flatwater Canoe so I can take my Wife and/or Grandkids with me.

Lycose, I heard your name was Rolf? Awefully scandinavian? Rolf means "honor" in Norse and "wolf" in some other stone age language:O

K---My Mom slapped Rolf on me. She was from Regensburg. You are correct about the names origin and meaning(s). My name is actually, Rolf-Dieter.
That stands for, mean mussa fussa! :yawn:
 
hey ya'll... just got back from an awards ceremony...our team got distinguished service medals for a hostage rescue of 3 kids....dad killed mom and neighbor, told negotiators he was going to kill the kids, and shot at us on the entry...all kids rescued unharmed...went out for beers afterwards and don't know who else to tell, so i figured i'd share with the crew....damn beer!

Im trying to get me a Horton, yeah;) I want one bad.. Oh well, time to get some sleep! It's nearly 0230 now. Hope I have an e-mail from Jer in the morning!
