I like it a lot! It feels great in the hands due to the mudder handles. The blade finish is smooth and even. Feels quick with a nice balance right about the center of the knife. Choil is a bit wierd since it's squared rather than the half circle I'm used to. Edge had a relatively even grind and was shaving sharp. (Although again it could definitely benefit from a bit more polish.)
Overall I'm very satisfied with it. I ordered it with black res-c mudders and a tanker gray finish. Have to get some kydex made for it since I think it would conceal nicely under a t-shirt in appendix carry position.
BTW. - J, that edge on the M9 is incredible. I just chopped through a fallen oak as big around as my thigh and its still shaving sharp. I cleaned all the residue off and was ready to strop it a bit on my bark river kit but It doesnt even need that. I feel privileged to have gotten one of the last mods you did.

Truer words never spoken! Synthetic stock (ultra light weight) it was a bruiser! Plus I like to put 300-500 rounds down range when I go out ...... .308 is king, don't know why I thought about anything else.

Bruce, I think Jeremy made a pattern before he sent it to me. I sent it out for a horizontal Kydex lined leather sheath (grip forward strong side). JRE is doing it for me, but they have a 2 month backlog, so it might be awhile for pictures.
