Horween Field Notes Deluxe Wallet

Posting this one up here at a discount. I am normally charge more for these but in this case I’m not thrilled with my stitching. It kinda got away from me and is not 100% straight.

Asking for $60 shipped.

6.5oz Horween Natural Latigo Glazed both sides (gbs). This is a chunky hefty wallet. This leather has been waxed on both sides and scuffs and marks will brush off. It will take a little longer to darken but it will do so.

This version has a huge bifold pocket that can be used for pretty much anything and I’ll be including my little bungee cord tie down.

I will be finishing the edges in a natural color and using a coat of beeswax.

What dimension notebook will this take?

Will a moleskine 3.5x5 fit?

I make these to fit field notes which are 3.5” x 5.5”

They should fit. Do you use the hard cover ones?

These are very durable if you can force it, it will mold over time.

But I have not yet tried moleskine books myself.

Yes, I have the hardcover one. I've had it for quite a while and its beginning to fray. Do you think it'll work? I generally carry it in a cargo pocket so don't want it to be materially larger then the notebook by itself.

I don’t want to say yes as I haven’t tried it myself. But the size indicates it would.

Also this is a very chunky wallet just fyi. Prob the thickest one I’ve made to date.

I would throw in an extra notebook just in case it doesn’t fit.
