I can think of far worse decisions to have to make but it is a little disturbing when you are spoiled for choice. It's rather like trying to pick a favorite child. . . almost.

I have quite a few that I love to use but I really don't like carrying more than two. Now that I have my SNG I want to carry it all the time; but then I miss my 710 and 940 just to mention a couple.

Even carrying just two can be a PITA because it makes it difficult to get into my pockets. Then there's the choice of which one to use when the need arises? AAAHHHHHH!!

Anybody else relate?

It takes me more time to decide which knife I'm going to carry that day than it does for me to decide what I'm going to wear. It's a tough decision. :D

Depends on where I'm going or what I'm doing.

If I'm going to work, usually one of my cheaper knives so I can abuse it. If I'm going somewhere else where I probably won't need the knife, I'll carry one of my nicer knives.

On a work day I only carry one knife, a Case Tiny Trapper, in order to comply with work regulations.

Off work, I carry a traditional in my front pocket and a one-hander in my back pocket. The traditional gets most of the cutting assignments.

Which knives I carry off work depends on what appeals to me that day.

Since I got it, I've always been carrying a one off custom by Andrew Demko. It's the perfect knife so I can't put it down.

I go to my knife box and pick one. Totally random (except for the fact that I almost always grab my Sage 1). My Izula is a given, but the folder is a gamble.

I like to EDC my Izula that I've had for a month now, but usually I still like to take my Kulgera or Needs Work as a companion folder because they're so much more convenient with the one-hand operation. If I have to go somewhere formal or where having one of those knives may be frowned upon I take my Case Trapper or my Schrade USA Uncle Henry Stockman.

Usually my lineup is the Izula with the Kulgera, and on occasion the Izula with the Needs Work. I mostly use my Needs Work if I want to pocket carry.

It's usually just a toss up between my Yellow Handled Case Trapper and my Uncle Henry. I think the Uncle Henry looks a little classier, so I've taken that to more formal occasions, and the Trapper is more for just having the laid-back knife that doesn't put anyone on edge.

I usually hate when I can't carry two knives though. I find carrying anymore than that too weird though.

I like to rotate depending on how I'm feeling. I also rotate how I sharpen my knives. Perhaps I'm in a whetstone mood. Perhaps I feel the convex itch. There are so many choices when it comes to knives that I mix it up and see what works for the day.

Currently, I've got myself an Opinel No.8 with a beautiful convex edge that cuts incredibly well. Gotta love that carbon steel.

Light Food Cutting(samples for the customers) - Pink Izula
Tape - Small Buck Vantage Pro
Slicer - Para2 S90V
Hard Use - Hinderer XM-18

For the most part I swap out the Slicer and the Hard Use knife depending on which knife I feel like using, but the rest stays the same.

The Slicer must be lightweight, slim, and stain resistant. The Hard Use knife would typically be something I use to punch a sizable hole through cardboard and doesn't require much if any stain resistance.

I try not to favor one knife over another. I just grab one and go:) Sometimes this plan goes up in smoke when I end up carrying one for months on end.

I've accumulated a lot of knives over the years. Most don't see any use at all. My recent method is this: I have seven blades in EDC rotation so I got a clear plastic lidded container out of an old tackle box with six sections in it. The sections are just big enough to hold one knife each. I have a knife on me and six in the 'box' which are visible through the lid, organized side by side, right on my desk. I just refer to this little container every morning before I leave for work and take what suits for the day. Easy

I have a lot of knives but edc a SAK because I use it so much. Then I usually carry another knife, most likely something thin for comfort, like a canoe pattern or Buck slimline.

My edc choice is based on what I am wearing or anticipate doing. At work, with dress clothes, it will be a small, traditional slipjoint. The rest of the time, it will be a Vic Spirit multitool paired with a small folder.

I keep probably 10 knives in rotation. Because I work from home and have access to my knives all day, I may switch what I carry 2 or 3 times a day. I watch a nutnfancy review and it makes me want to grab an Endura. Then I want to go minimalist, and switch out to a G10 Dragonfly. Later it strikes me that I "need" a hard-use mutha and I grab a Cold Steel Lawman. Its a sickness.

I EDC either my mini AK-47 for work, or my full size AK-47 when I'm not working. I have more need of a knife when I'm not working than I do at the job I have right now. I also carry an EDC bag, in it one of the things I carry is a CRKT pliers that has a knife blade in it. I use that more for crap use so I don't mess up my AK-47 mini blade.

It depends mostly on what I'm wearing. If the pockets can accommodate a larger knife then that's what I carry. I find too many jeans have smaller pockets that if I stick a bigger knife in them I can't reach past them for my keys. That's why my thinner knives like my Shallot and Mcusta gets carried to much. If I'm doing something that requires a certain knife, I dress to accommodate that knife.

I have 3 knives that I rotate for work:

Kershaw "Needs Work"

Kershaw Blur

Kershaw Zings

For home and around the town:

Mini-Grip

Kershaw Leek

Buck 112 or Alpha Dorado

I always carry my Leatherman Wave :D
