Jerry Hossom Spyke. Not many of these FULL size Spykes were made. If my failing memory does not steer me wrong, this PURPOSE BUILT tool was made out of 3/16" stock ATS-34. While a few small needlepoint 'snakebite' knives were made by Jerry, there were only a handfull of these large ones.
Measuring 12" OAL, checkering on the thumbramp, with a 6" blade that grinds down to nothing at the tip, believe it or not, the Spyke is still the scariest blade in my collection to anyone who checks it out. This is a wicked knife that demands respect that is a bitch to grind.
The paracord wrap was placed by the original owner, not by Jerry or myself. The handle under it is skeletonized. Includes a leather laminated kydex sheath by my pal Waxes Eloquent and is a sign of a classic Hossom.
Like new condition. Never carried and definitely not used.
