I have always liked the simple and functional Scandinavian knives and from time to time give this style a try. Here are three knives I have made with 1/8" thick, 3 1/2" long 5160 blades, that unlike the originals are full flat ground for better cutting performance and carefully contoured handles of very high quality, nicely figured imbuia root that I hand picked at the last São Paulo Knife Show. They don´t have a bolster, only a fiber spacer between the blade and handle, and are super light. All come with a brown pouch style leather sheath. US$ 85.00 each. they really have a Scandi knife feel - and an identity all of their own at the same time.
