Thanks Peter. I figured it was a joke. I have been a lurker here for a at least a year now, so I can kind of follow some of the inside stuff. Of course the things thing come off with about what happens at shows like Blade are lost on me. Their level of helpfulness without talking down to the new guys is what made me feel secure enough to finally stop lurking and start trying to participate.

I have only known about Busse Combat since April of 2005 so you have a step up on me. As for the happenings at Blade (and inside jokes that follow it), the only way to join in the laughing is to be there and experience what was so funny! It's sort of an incentive in itself to go to Atlanta or Portland just to see what is so funny.
