Hot Diggity Dog!

Yes, she is. I've talked with her several times about my upcoming orders.
I think that the Bossman needs to introduce her to us here on the forum sometime soon... :)

Pics of it didn't happen!!!!!!!!!!!
:D

I'm more pumped about the 411 than the Dog Dagger. Double-edge is a big no-no in the State of Texas. Ridiculously stupid law... but it is the law.

Seriously? You can IWB an UZI but you can't have a double edged blade? Are scissors also illegal?

In Texas???? What, in a state where your gov proudly aces a coyote with his laser'd LCP, and you can't have two edges on one knife ??!?!??1

Wow, hmmm... maybe i have to start digging up my old Texas jokes, like... like...

ok, Texas has the biggest of everything, except cemeteries. Why?

While we're waiting for responses, i just noticed that this says it's got CBT!! It's gonna be a nice match for my mistress

Tooo

IIRC, CBT = corrugated bevel technology = grooves milled into the blade

Primary example would be the CGFBM.

What'd be really nice is if someone made a good boot sheath for this. And I don't mean the typical cheap flimsy clip that would let it fly right out. I mean a clip that could fit over and around the thick lip of most good boots and stay put!

I generally have little interest in double edge knives, however I like the looks of the Hot diggity dog seeing as it is a Busse-kin and priced pretty reasonable. 12C27 Sandvik while no super steel is more than adequate with the right heat treat, which I'm sure SYKCO can provide. All in all I would't mind picking up this knife for kicks.

Sure... rub it in, fellas!

We can't carry automatic knives (switchblades) either. Texas law also forbids anyone to have a pair of pliers in his possession, and prohibits taking more than three sips of beer at a time while standing. It's all pretty stupid, and as you might have guessed I am usually in violation of some sort of law... especially the beer one. :D

But for the record... I only carry my UZI OWB. ;)

Thanks all for answering the CBT question for me... here's a pic, the top CGFBM has CBT if you look closely...

Sounds technical, but I iike it! :D
I'll just call it Cool Blade Technology.

it is the coolest blade technology ;)

There are a few write ups on it in the forum, but basically, it make certain busses lighter, without making them too much weaker. So it's very good for us old fellas...

And it gives a look unlike any other knife out there!!

The 411 should be offered in all colors like the scrapper 5. But I 'll gladly take all black in lieu of the thumb ramp.

Got my order in, Texas law be damned.

I like your style Maqua...

Amen, brother. Scrapper 5 just didn't work with that ramp. It was all wrong. The 411 looks like it will be an epic all round blade. :D

Bravo!

Question, is it one of those antiquated laws that passed in the 19th century, and no one has gotten around to change it, or do they actually enforce?

As I understand it, this one IS enforced just like the automatic knife law.

It really is stupid that I'm completely legal carrying a 870 and 30-30 ready to roll in the truck, 1911 under my shirttail and a single edged knife... but the double-edged knife is illegal??? Ugh... I might just call Gubner Perry and ask him WTF...

I will probably get one anyway and just grind down the top edge to a 'false' or unsharpened edge.

NiteIze eCLIPse - I stuck one to a kydex plate that fits sheaths measured for Tek-loks. It's narrow (~1cm), only ~4cm long, and has excellent traction, in fact it's enough to tear a hole in thin fabric if you tug to hard (as a friend of mine discovered)
