First look at a DDR bali
 
We have been sculpting all week to come up with a design and feel that we know will amaze when completed.
Please understand this is a CUSTOM VERSION!
The frame is titanium Damascus by MASTER Damascus maker Chad Nichols. So we had to make it an inlaid lock version. The full 6AL4V version will be a frame lock. This knife will be in NY at the show.
To give the other detail about it, Chad made us some cool Damascus will a Stellite core. Yes Stellite. Almost unobtainium. To let you know there are very few Damascus makers that can make material like this.


The knife we are giving away for this contest will have some of the features finish wise that are similar to this one.
These pics are straight off our bench.

Incredible!!! That's definitely one of the coolest things I've ever seen come off the DDR bench (and that's no small feat)! :eek: :eek:
 
This is an exclusive V82 for one of our dealers.
It is a DRT bali.

Gorgeous! Love those balis. If I actually had bali skills, I might pick one up, but as is, I'd better wait until I learn how to use one. Think those might be illegal here also :(

Pretty sure you can have balisongs here. My friend had a BM42 before he traded it. Me, I got my automatics directly in the mail.

Carrying one is another story, but heck, there are plenty of things you can own but not carry here.

Pretty much. I still like this one though:

I love the way the inlay compliments that damascus. I prefer the texturing on the handle of the new one, but I like the inlay on that other one a LOT. This new one would look great with some sort of bluish or pearlescent semi-precious stone inlay, to my eye. There's nobody that does that better than Darrel, at least for folding knives.

Here is a proto of a similar knife to the HTM coming out with a Damascus blade. We will make this knife in the Torpedo and Bowie Styles. The Bowie is shown.The knife shown is a custom version. PLEASE NOTE!!!! THE FRAME LOCK AND THE THICK LOCK BAR

This is Similar to the Contest knife only with a S35VN blade.
