A while back, Haley and I were asked to make knives as gifts for the groomsmen at her Brother's wedding. They asked for something small and simple. What we came up with were these little "freeman" knives. They are full tang, forged to shape, and wrapped with Net mending twine. We liked them so much that we made some for ourselves, and also sent one out to client of ours who is an avid hunter and knife user for some field testing. He was kind enough to test it, and also post some field photos here on the forums. The response was really great, so we have decided to make them available as part of our full time line-up. Because they are fun and pretty standardized the basic twine-wrapped version will be kept in stock, available without a wait. This knife can be had anytime and will be delivered within a month of ordering.
The Photo of the three knives together are the groomsmen knives.
The other three are the Basic "freeman", the "stingray and Sword-wrap", and "bolsters and ironwood"
Enjoy!

that is a sleek little design. Love that netting twine or whatever it's called, I use that for all sorts of things, mostly wrapping tool handles and the handles on my throwing knives.

Looks like you're stayin warm up there:thumbup::D

Neat little knives. I really like the one with the ironwood scales. What are the dimensions?

Thanks Guys!
I forgot to add the specs. They all have about 3 inch blades, and are about 7" overall.
They are mostly made of 1084(1085v from Aldo). The one with the ironwood handle is CRUforge.

Fishunter,
I sent you a PM.

Yes, they all come with a leather sheath. I might also experiment with some kydex.

Adam.

Adam perfect sized user knife .

Really like the blade shape

Stingray one is killer

what type sheaths

Joe,
The sheaths are leather cross-draw, but could be made vertical too. Here is a pic of the sheaths. For you, maybe some baby sea-otter skin?

Way cool! The sword wrap one looks strangely familiar. Hope you guys are doing well up there.

Are these not on your website yet or am I just having a moment?
Either way these are great looking knives.

Have you been a good boy this year? I think Santa's coal in your stocking hasn't the right effect on you anyhow...you just burn it and make knives:D

This concept reminds me a bit of Burt Foster's DarkSide knives and that's great.
