Hot off the frozen Alaskan bench.

Very cool knives !
This concept reminds me a bit of Burt Foster's DarkSide knives and that's great.
Thanks for the pictures.

Yes, I have been inspired by Burt's Dark side knives since I first saw them. Maybe someday I'll get organized and have a design mid-teched like that, but for now these are all hand made one at a time.

Chuck, Just kidding about the sea otter. Their fur is amazing, but even though they are very overpopulated now, they are still a protected species. The Native Alaskan tribes are allwed to harvest them now though, so for a price you can get clothing... The otter Haley got was a land/river otter. They also have great fur.

Thanks everyone for all the encouragement.

Hey guys, very cool all around. I am so glad to see makers like Adam and Haley putting out knives in high-style with cool flowing lines like these, but done in an affordable and usable way.

Very, very slick knives!

Adam and Haley, those knives look great, I thought you almost had an "oops" when you said the otter thing, nice save. Stop by the store if you ever get to the frozen city.

Thanks Mark. Yeah, it's confusing, this place is lousy with otters...
I didn't know you had a storefront. I'll have to send my fairbanks cousin over to check it out.

Adam.

Adam.

I trapped around Cordava a little while back, it is full of both land and sea otters, it's a nice place to be.

The store is kind of a work-in-progress but we like it. Maybe someone will finish it some day.:D

A very nice set of knives. The stingray one is catching my eye:D , so much I'll be contacting you:thumbup:

Love the blade geometry, and especially partial to the one with ironwood scales.

If you got a few of those to Ray and Ryan at Northern Knives in Anchorage, I'd most likely pick one up.

Very cool knives, what will you guys do with an otter? Just curious, I know they have a wonderful hide.:D:thumbup:

I tan them and cover the furniture, they aren't as plush or as big as the legendary sea otters but still soft and glossy. The couch in the picture is covered with 4 sewn together. Mmmmm fur:)
