I was looking at Admiral's on line store for 5/32 1095 they have it in cold rolled but not hot. is there any difference? I'm not forging, I'm doing stock removal. would there be any problems with warping in HT? Should I normalize once? More than once? I never get my blades really hot when I grind.

Hot rolled, as the name insinuates, is rolled while hot. It forms fire scale after rolling. The surface is usually scaly and rough. Cold rolled steel is rolled after it has cooled.
the rolling process pops the scale off and leaves a fairly smooth surface.
