Golden Delicious apples are one of those apples where there can be a considerable disparity between what you get at the store versus what you experience right off the tree. Both Golden and Red Delicious apples are incredible in season and right off the tree but they can suck major nuts when grabbing from the store, especially the reds.

Sugar Bee or Cosmic Crisp apples cut with CPK MagnaCut (or D3V) is the correct answer.

The best apple I've ever had is the SweeTango, but they are only good from August to October. Any other time of the year it's Honeycrisp.

Probably because they’re an Aussie cultivar but they are far and away the most popular apple here.

I think that the answer, as usual, around here, is both - apples cut with MagnaCut.
