How about a carbon steel 110?

That's why I would rather just see it added to the custom shop options. Those ironwood 111s and 55s are running about as much as a custom shop knife. You would have to settle for the standard bolster shape, but you would have several choices for handle materials and the brass/silver bolster option.

Edit:
Also, I assume we could also send in old 560's and pre-purchased standard 110's for blade replacements.

I like my 110 and would love to see it with a Carbon steel blade. :) Count me in too.

OK, I think it's time to up the ante here...

CJ, Chuck, Joe - If you offer 1095 as a 110 blade option, I'll go out and buy *another* Buck 110 just to get the carbon steel blade!!! :D

Alright guys, keep it comming!

Chuck, Joe, do you hear it? (sound of chanting)

Carr-bon!, Carr-bon! Carr-bon! :D

If it helps get a limited production run - I'm in don't care which model. Can see it now a 1095 with desert ironwood....

Doc,

You dug deep for this thread. I don't know about a run with special steel, but to have your company name or for that mannner any decent printing on a production knife reguires an order of 250 pieces. Lets see a dealer cost for 301 of $30 times 250 each would take about $7500 to get it going.....

When I win the lottery you will see a two blade clip and Warcliff blade 303 with 300Bucks on the blade. I will get first 100, and BCCI can sell the rest.....

300Bucks

Gee, Craig thats a generous offer . Don't shove the boat away just yet I believe I want in . DM

I'm going to go out on a limb here (I honestly don't know).

I have a Damascus-bladed stag 110 on my desk in front of me, and the thought did occur to me, if it might actually be carbon (non-stainless) damascus. It does have an attractive grey patina to it, so it made me wonder(?).
