How about a deal spotting forum (for supporting dealers)?

I was just curious as to why there isn’t a deal spotting subforum for BladeForums supporting dealers? I completely understand that posting deals from non-supporting members devalues the membership for supporting dealers, but what would the harm be in having a subforum for the paid dealers?

Maybe there could be a sticky at the top for the subforum with the list of paid dealers and rules explaining that only threads with deals from those dealers are allowed or something?

The reason I bring it up is because the deal spotting threads on other knife forums/Reddit draw a LOT of views and I’d like to see those people coming here instead. It also seems like it would be a good member service for the enthusiasts that hang out on BladeForums, as well as drawing attention to dealer sales.

As a mod, it sounds like a headache to control what gets posted.
Much easier to let the dealers themselves do such promoting in the dealer sections.

Understandable. I imagine keeping all of us knuckleheads in line is more than enough work as it is.
