How about a Fiddleback Forge BushCamp Weekend this spring?!

This is a great idea! Unfortunately for me it might be difficult to pull of. Along with other planned vacations, getting the time off and the fuel costs just might be too much. My GMC eats a lot of diesel. :rolleyes: Regardless this is a great idea. It will be cool to see some pics and read some stories.
 
what a great idea !!! damn I whish I had a chance to join something like that, especially knowing what great outdoors you have...but I think this would be a bit too far from Denmark :grumpy:
I too hope you will post some great pictures with some really cool knifes in action.

And I hope for y'all that Andy will bring some new stuff limited editions for his huge fans :D with a great stories behind his ideas when making them !!!
 
I like the idea, but I can't think of when to do it. Early June is Bladeshow. September is the guild show. That leaves maybe July time, or October time. Any opinions on this?

I like the October idea. The smokies are beautiful in the autumn.
 
I kinda like the October idea too. The busy season for my business has slowed way down and I have a lot more flexibility in my schedule. Whats the weather in the Smokies usually like in October? It's still around 95-100degrees where I live lol
 
I still like early May, too. I'm good with either though...beginning of October would be great as well. Both seasons are beautiful there.
 
I didn't get to go last year because I was still in Florida when the wife and daughter went to Gatlinburg. But the last time I was there the year before (when the pictures in that link on the first page were taken) it was July and it was really hot!

I think this should also give people plenty of time to get their travel plans together who are coming from further away! The Smokies in the fall...I'm so excited!

Andy, if we can agree on this date it's probably be best for you to start a new thread for the event with a set date in the post title?
