I'm in, Osage natural liner blue pinstripe sounds awesome. Second choice would be desert ironwood. I would prefer a handyman but if it ends up being HB that is fine too, just happy to get in on this. I am down for predator triangle pins or beauty marks etc. if the guys get bored making too many of the same knife.

Can we see some examples of handle options
thanks

Here are some examples on various models from Fotki, spine shots when available:

Here's a Hiking Buddy with the same from @NoRest. https://www.bladeforums.com/threads/let-see-your-hiking-buddies.1554731/#post-17852244

That thing is perfect!
Well, some would disagree, which is why I have it.
It’s “only” 1/8” TT with a very high grind - personally, I think that’s , but some of the others are holding out for 3/32”...

I would be one of those above mentioned disagree-ers. That knife is awesome for sure I was tempted even with the TT 1/8, because of the handle set up, but I really wanted 3/32 Hiking Buddy. ;)

The weight and feel of the 3/32 outclassed the 1/8 for my preferences. The HB for me is an EDC and light use woods knife. In those instances I want as light and thin as possible. Now a days I'm rarely doing heavy wood prep for fire making, or bushcrafty wood work that might warrant a thicker steel. I just don't have any needs for a thick stocked, heavy knife for what I do. So might as well go and light as possible!

I'm thinking the Hiking Buddy I snagged from Mac will be perfect for me. Might be one of the lightest HBs around actually. :D

All that said, the AEB-L stock is slightly thicker and falls in between the two. But I'm willing to settle a bit on my preferences when it's stainless.
