I was thinking about a small hawkbill & thought that other than a different blade grind; couldn't a cricket be ground into a wicked little hawkbill instead of a reverse s curve?
I think the oval shape of the outer edge of the blade & the handle would compliment this well.
I think this would be cost effective, no new parts, same assembly method etc.
I love the reverse S for precise, shallow cuts (best thing in the world for opening plastic clamshell packages), but for deep, slashing cuts, I think this would maximize the size of the blade/cut ratio.
Thanks for your consideration.
