How about a new picture posting thread?

Topic about says it all. I know we have several sites that have pics of our knives posted on them. But they are not updated as easily and also sometimes pics are missed. How about we start a new thread to just include our pics, discussion and pics can still take place on your original thread. However, I'd love to have a thread entirely devoted to pics of our knives, in use, in the safe, in the field, anywhere your knife feels comfortable. ;)

I don't always have a chance to read all the threads anymore, and I know I'm missing a lot of good pics. So what do you say. If the consensus wants a thread devoted only to pics I'll start one with a few pics and then hopefully some more people will join in.

:D:D

I think that’s an excellent idea.
I used to love going through the old one but thought it was canned to conserve space?
Ian.

It was canned to conserve my space. ;) I was hosting so many of the pics that I didn't have room to post anything else :D

If everyone gets involved I think it will work fine...hopefully.

Everything has to be about you doesn't it?!?

I needed to conserve space, I need pics from blade, I need more variants... :p ;)
BLAH BLAH BLAH BLAH :D

Heck Yeah Eric... If you post it, pics will come  ;)
If I see a pic thread, I'll throw some pics in there and it would be cool to have again

Gundy might be hibernating somewhere down the bottom of Australia for the winter?
I haven’t seen him for a while. :D
Ian.

KAAK,

Not yet my overeager friend ;) I'll start a separate thread so that there is not so much discussion.

Here's the idea. More pics....less discussion ;)

New thread will be started shortly, I've got to find some good pics to get is started ;)

BTW, the pics posted don't have to be of your knives. They can be some Jerry has posted that maybe are now hidden away or that you just like. ;)

:D:D

This sounds like a great plan, especially for someone not familar with all of the Busse line. I look forward to looking at all of the pictures.

For now? ;) :D

Sounds good to me. I've got almost 400 total Busse pics. I'll dig up some of my knives and post them.

Eric,
I should have a disk with every pic that was in the former thread, when I get home I'll start looking for it, if I can't find it I can sure enough get out the camera and start snapping photo's..... I have some good pics of the busse's I sent to Iraq... but I'll have to email my cousin and make sure I can post them.... I may have to cut out some faces but hopefully he will let me post them.

Eric, great idea. I'd like to see it be "Nuthin but Pics".

No discussion postings at all would be great.

If one wanted to comment, one would then start another thread.

I thought about maybe puttin a key word into the first post, or maybe in the title, so one could simply do a thread search to view, and have it come back to the top should they post a pic. That way, everyone would know there had been a new pic or pics added to be drooled over... ;)

I love the idea of a picture thread!

However, as a less experienced member when it comes to Busse knives, I would like to see the knives labeled. No comments or long winded descriptions. Just something short, like "Fusion Steel Heart. Double Cut Finish with Snakeskin Micarta."

That would help educate "potential enthusiasts" about different options and styles.

:D :D :D
