I posted this elsewhere and I thought I would start a thread here as well---

I may be the only one but I would really like to see a new folding karambit from Spyderco. I liked the Warren Thomas collab. alot but the heavy steel frame was a bit too much. Other than that it was great.

It would be cool to see the WT model again with FRN scales for an overall lighter weight or a new karambit model with a similar blade profile as the previous, FRN scales, and the strongest lock Spyderco can make. Don't forget the ringed end!!!

I've really become interested in folding karambits and a new Spyderco would be awesome.

I would love to see a new Spyderco Karambit. Full linners, G-10 handles, compression lock, Vg-10 or S30V steel with Harpy blade shape.

A new karambit would be a great addition to the Spyderco line. There was a post about this in the Spyderco forum not too long ago, so it appears that there is some interest.

I have the WT Karambit, but more as a collection piece than a user. I would love to see a narrower karambit with a smaller hole...in my hands, the WT is a bit too unwieldy.

When I asked Mr. Glesser about many of these ideas (a waved, FRN kara) in Eugene earlier this summer, he said there just wasn't much interest. And then proceeded to expertly demonstrate with his p'kal. I think that karas are just too narrow of a niche. The whole arena of MBC knives is pretty small, and Spyderco has provided us with a kara, the p'kal, ronin/yojimbo, Perrin's collaborations, etc. A new kara would be nice, but maybe not a sound business decision.

Same design basically, but with a G-10 side and a frame-lock.
Oh, and maybe a removable wave bar.:)
