Bruce you insult me, those are some classic pieces, I ground them out of an old saw blade some where back in the 80's,no , these could be the 2 I made from an old leaf spring that I pulled behind my truck one year on a family vacation. Didn't have a grinder had to improvise. My memory fells me but I could see right off I had a calling for this knifemaking :D , now be honest wouldn't you like to have these in your knife collection, I would sell them to you at a real good price, after I get my $5000 or $10,000 prize out of this contest.
Sylvester, these are going to be the finest knives I have ever made when I get all that cash.:D :D

Knives can't be ugly...I have seen some with allot of Character though...
I am not going to judge...I have some pretty bad looking ones myself from a long time ago..

How bout this one? It was made back in high school, forged from a bearing race, hollow ground on a bench grinder and the handles are atached with chicago screws. Sorry about the crappy photo, guess cammera didn't want to record such a pitiful atempt.

This I made a while back as a test blade, 52100, triple normalized, anealed, quenched and tempered. oak handles with brass pins, my folks do a lot of buisness online and needed something to cut cardboard and styrofoam and paking tape. Well, it has been going stronge for the last couple of months and while no longer shaveing sharp, is still sharp and hasn't been sharpened yet.

Damn Peter, thats cheating, you had to work long and hard to make a knife that ugly, and half that time with your eyes shut.:D

The only time in my life I might win something and you throw in a ringer, damn :(

Bill, I hate to say it Ol Buddy but Peters knife is in my opinion uglyer than yours. Good goin Peter!
 
Hey guys, I've been thinking about this all day, Peter has 1 ugly knife, I mean its uglyer then ugly, matter of fact Peter should be slapped for making anything that ugly :D , but heres the kicker I've got 2 ugly knives on here and a pair always beats 1 of a kind. Come on judges think about it. ;)
