how about best restaurant chain hamburgers?

I don't eat at many chains, but I vote for Wendy's as the best of the fast-food places.

I can't say when I last had a good burger from a chain place. Offhand, Ruby Tuesdays. I tried a double stack from Wendys the other day...meh. For .99, it wasn't bad and beats the McDs double cheeseburger.

When my dad visits from Tenn, he has to stop at White Castle. He loves those things. I think they are horrible. Apparently the southern version (Crystals?) aren't as good (his claim). Either way, :barf:

I wouldn't consider Culvers a fast food place. Took almost 20 min to make a hamburger one day. I was the only customer. They are good though.

Yeah they are good. Good food in general and great desert. I really like their frozen custard. Well I vote for In N Out burger as best. With Fudruckers as second and White Castle as third. Those are my favorite and I have had burgers everywhere. Not so much by choice as I needed to eat and couldn't cook. Otherwise I'm not really a hamburger person but on occasion I like In N Out.

Frisch's Big Boy, the Super Big Boy. Just thinking about it makes me want one...uuummmmmm.

1 - Steak-n-Shake burger

2 - sliders from White Castle, if such things can reasonably called burgers; its more like a skillet scab, but when one is in the mood there is not much that is tastier.

Friendly's Ultimate Bacon Cheeseburger.

Oh. My. God.

Hands down....Red Robin.

Whataburger. Hand's down the best. Not a drop of ketchup on it anywhere.

Krystal's (more of a mood choice, when I want one they're damned good, when I'm not really in the mood but hungry they're so-so).

Wendy's (good, cheap and fast).

1) A Crave Case from White Castle.... Been eating them 50 years, with no plans to stop.... Extra onions, no pickles, add mustard

2) Max & Erma's - bacon & bleu

3) Steak & Shake double Cheese w/bacon

A little place in downtown Little Rock called "The Hop." Probably the best burger I've had at a restaurant in my life.:D

I've given up on fast food joints. I'll stop in a good bar and get a steakburger and fries "to go" and enjoy the good taste of grilled meat (and a drink while I wait)...
